2011-2012 Landscapes 36x36
Many of these paintings are part of my new landscape series using a 36" x36" format and varying the horizon line. Through these paintings I hope to spark a memory, stir an emotion, or start a conversation.
Seascapes and Skyscapes
This collection depicts boats, seascapes, and various nautical elements. Many of the scenes are from my beloved Cape Cod and the New England coast. I reconnect to my roots at least twice a year to feel the brisk breeze, cool fog, and salt air that is so much a part of me. Others, from Florida and the surrounding regions that are now home. This is where warm tropical breezes and humid wetlands merge to illicit a different wave of creative energy.

Landscape
These landscapes are generally done in my studio with the use of field studies and my own photographs. However, my husband Peter and I, also enjoy gardening ~ so many of the upclose paintings, such as the Banana, Bamboo and Florals Series are from the living plants in our backyard gardens.Please view "Archived Works" for recently sold paintings.
Plein Air
